I'm not going to vote at all. If we do weaker teams get higher pick then I say non-snake, but if we pick out of a hat then definitely snake.

I am picking draft postions out of a hat, it will be different for all 3 drafts, the 15 rd MLB, 10 RD Prospect, and the 5 rd Amateur draft in July (generally we would etermine who gets the pick for the yearly amateur draft based on previous seasons standing, but since we do not have those to go by the initial amateur draft will be a hat pull)

For the regular draft and then the first prospect draft would you consider doing it in reverse order so one team doesn't have the chance to luck out for both and one team to get screwed for both? It would help keep the league more even at least at the beginning. If a power team get's lucky in both that would be pretty tough to compete with.

I am doing 3 seperate pulls, hopefully the person who got first on the first pull wont get it again but inthat case i would just re pull, funny thing though in my 15 years of playing fantasy Baseball...I never had a 1st pick, and i doubt I will this year...lol

I thought we were doing a 10 round MLB draft? If we do 15 that puts us with 5 extra players. Also, I absolutely hate the picking out of a hat idea. With the fact that the stronger teams in the league could end up with higher picks than the shitty teams isn't right. You could realistically be the Cubs and have basically no MLB talent and get the last pick in the MLB draft while the Nats, loaded, get the top pick.
IMHO we should go by last years record and do snake draft for the MLB draft, non snake for the MiLB draft, and for the midseason draft THIS YEAR ONLY, go by records at the all-star break. That evens the playing field and gives the owners who took the challenge of taking a weaker team to start a somewhat even playing field as the owners who took teams that were loaded with talent. Just my two cents as someone who has started two other leagues exactly like this one.

If the order is different for each draft, we should make it so you can only get the 1st pick in ONE roster-filling draft; like for the pro-filling draft, say my Mariners get 1st pick, I am then ineligible for the 1st overall pick in the prospect-filling draft, which has been awarded to, say, the Orioles. However, both teams will be eligible for the 1st pick in the amateur draft.

well the Admin board decided that the amateur draft will be determined by the teams record at a abritray dtaed in June 2014 that has not yet been established, still working on that. The MLB/and prospects draft will be determined either through a name pull or actual MLB team records last season, we are still hashing that out and possible having the prospect round draft be opposite draft order of the MLB draft. these are still being figured out by the Admin board.

I know what a snake draft is, I was just being a spell check ass. I've done many hundreds of drafts. All styles. No hockey though. Don't know hockey. Would like to get into a good football league though.

If a team gets picked #1 in MLB they go last in the Prospect. Vice versa Just re-pull for amateur...seems cool.
